Helter Skelter have been together, in one form or another, since 2000 but all have been involved with music for a number of years, performing with a variety of bands since the early 1980s. Helter Skelter hail from Surrey and comprise of Warren Butson (bass guitar and vocals), Matthew Butson (guitar and vocals), Simon Lewis (acoustic guitar and vocals), Andy Taylor (keyboards and guitar) and Tim Morrant (drums and percussion).
Life-long friends, Simon, Warren and Matt performed together as a trio in their early childhood before going their separate ways and then – some 20 years later, together with Andy and Tim, re-emerged as Helter Skelter. Simon and Warren have appeared in bands together such as Natural Bond and The Civilians. Matt and Tim have also played with a number of bands over the years –Serene, Blue September, The Remains and Tokalon amongst them, whilst Andy is a classically trained pianist and teaches music.
